Visual Journey: group session

Visual Journey: group session

at the beginning we were given several songs to listen to as a group to quickly sketch in our books.

the two above I did when there was some indian music mimicking the sunrise with it's gradual inclusion of more instruments and notes. I thought of colours red and yellow and a bit of green as the bold colours remind me of India, especially the Hindu part of the nation.

this was from "gala day," it was a very british late 19th century festival troupe. It gave off the feeling of a military parade and the rolling hills of england alongside the village greens.

the one above and below were from a grande choir of a cathedral with no instruments to be heard. It gave off obvious feelings of the church but it gave off a specific feeling of the church of england. Perhaps because of the simplicity and slow tempo. I decided to give off a light blue surrounding and yellow light to show all this.
