Cube Face
This was the very first experience with maya. The drawing on paper was easy enough but drawing on the tablet and then plastering on the box was way too mind boggling for me to start with. When I redid the box about a week ago it was a doddle so I must've learned something.
I tried for a Picasso kind of style for the box face as I'm a bit arty farty if I do say so myself.
the difference between the hand drawn and the computer drawn one caught me a bit off guard for a bit, but now it looks pretty good for my first time with a cintiq; you'll find a running theme of contacting technology for the first time and then screaming at it in my work. I do want to make it clear I'm not a luddite.
