painting the mood of the week

Monday: It was a sweet and sour mood from what I remember. I think I was being homesick at the time but apart from that it was a good day. I tried blending the paints together in the middle but it was acrylics so it dries extremely quickly

tuesday: it was a pretty good day overall. the dark blue is the "residue" of the bad mood from monday. I blocked the paint into resemble confetti, which is seen as a positive thing.

wednesday: i decided to try out water colours. I remember being quite tired on wednesday and feeling sleepy so I decided to paint something that would give the generic feel of "slumberland"

It was a rather hectic day as well as windy. I decided to show this in the wide brushstrokes. I got influence from one Turner's paintings depicting speed

Snow Storm: Steam-Boat off a Harbour's Mouth, 1842

Friday: I was feeling horrible on friday as I essentially wasted the day trying to get maya to work. It soon crashed when I sorted it out.

Saturday: to make up for friday I had to do the same work as I did on friday. However because it was the weekend I was trying to get it done as soon as. I showed the franticness through the squiggly painting and my irritated mood in the blue which protrudes in the background. It wasn't that great of a first week.
