Visual Journey: Das Rheigold act I prelude (vorspiel)

For the first song I chose to visualise was Wagner's grand opening to his ring Cycle. It takes place when the innocent rhinemaidens playfully swim down the river. It gave off a similar feeling as "morning raga" did in the way that it feels like a sunrise. They seem to be the same song projected to two very different cultures.

I would like to animate this, but its about 5 minutes long, and one note is essentially 20 seconds long until the half way point.

I depicted the low key and very long cello note with a slight flicker of light in the skies and the emerging trumpet with the emergent of the light.

I may have been too figurative with this one, as the dark blue seem to depict a valley. It's essentially an extention of the sunrise.

I wanted to show the light invading the darkness, but due to the strokes of the purple and dark blues look like it's vice versa.

again I may have been too figurative here as it looks like the birds eye view of a mountain range, but I wanted to depict the shadows shrinking.

I wanted to have two pillars in the landscape to further show the rising sun .

By the end of the song there's an organised chaos of instruments as they all reach the climax. I wanted to show this through the sun fully risen with multiple colours flying across the sky. After the climax you would hear the rhinemaidens sing to eachother as they introduce the audience to Das rheingold.
