ADVRA Owl Project animations

These are the animation tests for the project.
This was the monoprint one I did. It took a lot of time and patience to bring together but I felt it was the most successful one. I believe if I honed my printing skills and created more details on the layout I could use this style for the final thing. Unfortunately After Effects was having none of it so it would always add this weird bar thing every 3 to 4 frames

This was the first test I did. I made this before adopting multiple time charts for separate part of the bodies which is why some bits speed up and slow down e.g feet. I like the shadow effect that goes across. Same feeling across the board with this unit, will be better once I improve my craftsman skills.

The second test was with oil paints. It was okay. Not much to say really. I used after effects to makethe multiple layers of this. That might be cheating but I like the effect.

Here's some of the animations before their final state

Unfortunately when I keyed the animation some of the charm was lost; bits got cut out, etc.

This was the charcoal animation before the charcoal. Rough.
